The River participates with God in our neighborhood through community partnerships. We recognize that joining with God's mission in our communities is slow work, but we believe that through partnerships, we can best participate with how God is bringing about restoration for our neighbors and communties.
In 2020, The River and Chapel on the Hill entered into a strategic partnership that began with the idea of sharing simple organizational resources. Due to the COVID-19 shutdown, the partnership was quickly forged into something much greater than just sharing space. In all things ministry, mission, and worship, the two churches have found that the kingdom of God is best understood when walking side by side in partnership.

Feeding Fifty is a community initiative to meet people where they are and provide two basic needs, food and friendship. What better way to connect than around the dinner table.
In October 2020, The River's chapter of Feeding Fifty began with the goal of sharing 50 meals with community members. This monthly meal has grown to sharing well over 50 meals per month with people from all over our community.
