What I do: I have the privilege to work in the office and take on all of the fun and exciting things that come my way! I also serve on The River's Hospitality Team. 

Why I do it:  Not to sound corny or anything, but God called me to it. I spent many of my early working years with a software training company. I traveled, experienced some pretty great working environments and met some wonderful people! It was high stress and fast paced and I saw over and over again what happens when you surrender your circumstances to Jesus - he shows up every time! My husband and I became foster parents and after a 3 year journey, adopted twin girls making our family of 3 a family of 5!! At that time, I planned on staying home and I did for a season, and then the door opened for me to work at The River Church, and I walked through it! Loving people well is something I strive to do in my personal life and work environment - and when you work for your church family - the opportunity to love is all the more special.  

Bet you didn't know: I am not a gifted dancer... by. any. means. But every time I hear a song that I would love to be able to dance well to, I choreograph the entire thing in my head. Interesting or scary? I'll let you decide!
